		<description>I wonder why there need to be _any_ homes at Alameda Point?  Isn&#039;t this place completely toxic and radioactive?  Maybe it&#039;s more suited for a shopping center and commercial business park to keep money on the island.  Open space for biking, etc. and other occasional uses especially along the waterside would be nice too.

Of course, this all requires cleanup, but maybe not as much as if residential were to be built there.</description>
