You betta work!

Have a few hours this Saturday (1/26) to help build a house for someone in need? Want to get involved in an affordable housing project that lacks the angst surrounding Measure A? Then you’re in luck!

Habitat for Humanity is having a Alameda Community Work party on Saturday.

Location: 626 Buena Vista Avenue, just west of Webster Street.
Time: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Food: Bring a bag lunch and fillable water bottle.
Clothes: Wear closed-toed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting ruined. Layer for the weather and bring rain gear.
Weather: Work will continue through light rain, but site will be closed in the event of heavy rain. On Saturday morning, you can call 510-251-6304 x 317 after 7:00 am. If the site will be closed, the message will say so. Otherwise, assume the site is open.

See you there!

Update: Saturday 1/26 @ 7:35am - It’s On!
