Sharrow the Road
Share + Arrow = Sharrow
Oak Street moved itself up the transportation ladder from “Class III” bike way (means there’s a green sign by the side of the road). To Shared Bike Street, with new Sharrows from Encinal to Lincoln.
These painted signs indicate that drivers should expect cyclists on the street and a reminder that on narrow roads like Oak, cyclists may legally (and safely) use the full travel lane.
