7:30 – late @ City Hall Council Chambers (also TV and Webcast)

Citywide issues include: review and comment on the City’s Capital Improvement Program (the plan that sets forth the spending priorities for the coming year), review the Draft Pedestrian Master Plan and discuss a proposal from APD to remove all parking in front of the Alameda Theater for a drop off zone.

Thursday – Two meetings

Fernside Traffic Calming Open House

7:00 – 9:00 at Edison School

Learn about the plans for chilling out traffic on Fernside between Encinal and High Streets

Draft Pedestrian Plan Community Meeting

6:30 – 7:30 at Main Library

Public workshop on the Pedestrian Plan.

Friday

Kick off for Bike To Oakland commute Fridays

8:00 am – Peets on Park.

Group commute ride (bikepool) to Oakland, all levels of rider welcome
