Alameda Point Development Concept now online

Lost in the chatter of the blogs, is the fact that it’s two proposals, a 4,000 household proposal that would use existing transportation solutions to keep traffic impacts to similar the 1,800 household PDC. There is more commercial proposed (which should make those clamoring for “more commercial” really happy. The second is the 6,000/PRT (or other transporation solution), caveat, it only gets built if the city and developer agree to terms of what the transportation solution is and that it’s feasible AND implemented from day-one (a constant council requirement).
Onward to November and the Master Plan.
