As tax paying citizens, let's reach into the Southern California influence bag that Bev Johnson opened and ask that the records of outside firms the City Attorney hires be public so we can see the addresses.

And, lets cross check them with the former address of our City Manager.

Always trust a Realtor (R). Whether the market's heading up or down, there's never been a better time to buy. Facts aside, real estate is invariably the best investment.

A "profession" in which the buyer's representative gets a commission that is positively linked to the purchase price is not one whose advice I'd listen to.

It seems the implication in these assertions is that Southern Californians are somehow trying to control Alameda politics. This strikes me as ridiculous. If Alameda realtors requested money from their state organization for this issue, after probably having contributed for years without receiving any of their funds back, what's the big deal? It's an issue that very much affects realtors' clients.
